BIO-GRADE MASTERBATCH Duc Phong Materials biodegradable plastics are a type of plastic capable of being decomposed by microorganisms and natural environmental factors. Over a certain period of time, they gradually transform into water, CO₂, and biomass without leaving any harmful residues in the environment. Biodegradable plastics can be made from renewable resources (such as corn starch, cassava, etc.), typically including PLA, PHA, and PBS, or from fossil-based materials (petroleum-derived), such as PBAT. By incorporating starch and suitable additives into PBAT and PLA resins, Duc Phong Materials has successfully developed various BIO COMPOUND product lines, effectively overcoming the limitations of PBAT and PLA.
